Alex and Kit were superb in helping us realise our dream home. Whilst we knew what we wanted they worked with this and added significant touches that have made a huge difference in the house. We put them under real pressure to deliver quickly as we started the building work without planning permission and still managed to finish the entire job within 6 months and without any builder delays. Kit's knowledge of planning and building control was invaluable and Alex helped us source some incredibly high quality but cost effective sash windows, a classic shaker kitchen and two centerpiece steel doors.

Kit and Alex are two genuinely smart individuals who care about their clients projects in a highly diligent manner. Whilst they're both highly creative, Kit takes the lead on designing and Alex project manages. They both have a strong understanding of each others roles and it's great to see them always working in harmony with one another. We asked a lot from the during our project particularly on creating the various areas we wanted in the space. They not only did this but also continually made suggestions that were far better than our own and that we were pleased to move forward with. Not your average firm.

LES PICARDIES - Martin & Emily

We wanted something that would meet the requirements of a large family and be a place where friends could come and relax pre-dinner with a glass of wine. It needed to be traditional but also have some contemporary features to it. The Hestia team brought the mood board together from Pinterest, asked to see other areas of our house to understand the type of furniture and style we furnish our home with and kept on refining the brief until they were happy with exactly which direction we wanted them to head in. The results were fantastic and although the handmade kitchen company we progressed with had their own designers we always wanted someone with a wider understanding of designing space to be responsible for this central part of our home. Well done Kit and Alex we're looking forward to working with you on the barn conversion next!

MAGPIE COTTAGE - Charlotte Robinson

Hestia Design took this project on from another Architect we had been using, we weren't happy with the initial design that had been submitted for the outline Planning Application. They managed to redesign both the interior and exterior and battled with the council to achieve full Planning Permission for the new design they produced for us.

​

We really couldn't be happier with their skill set, from design through to technical knowledge and furthermore their broking skills with the council!
